Included in the report are national trends in features, age and manufacturers of installed equipment, equipment buying plans and brand loyalty.

Description

Based on telephone interviews conducted with 2,948 ultrasound providers in U.S. hospitals and imaging centers. This report summarizes data on installed general ultrasound equipment and purchase plans for the same.

Installed base by manufacturer and age is summarized for all types of general ultrasound equipment including cart based, laptop and handheld units. Current data is compared to data collected in prior IMV studies.

Data is projected to 5,002 hospitals and 5,867 imaging centers. Brand loyalty by manufacturer is also presented.

Interviews were conducted from September 2015 thru June 2016.
